Cricket Festival

Years 4-6 attended a Cricket Festival at Builth Wells Cricket Club on Friday 21st June 2024.

Cricket 

When we went to cricket, we all enjoyed it. We were split into two teams, we enjoyed it either way. We went against so many teams, some we won, some we did not win. But either way we had fun! 

Sometimes we would sit out and watch our team, we all enjoyed the cricket competition. The weather was perfect, not too hot and not too cold!

When our best player went on the pitch to bowl the ball went extremely fast... they hit it hard, and we ran so fast when we were batting. We hit it hard as well, we got a SIX and a FOUR, we had all our courage and might with us on that day.  

We saw a pro Cricketer; he did some demonstrations it was fun to watch. He had traveled all the way from South Africa to play for Builth cricket team. He held a demonstration to show us a bit about competitive Cricket. When he did a demonstration, he did some batting and hit ball that was bowled to him. Then some teachers stepped in to have a go at batting. It was very fun to watch, we loved it so much and we wish we could do it all again.  

We all had the time of our lives!!!
